My Interests

I like to think that I have a wide range of interests. I enjoy the company of good friends over a few bowls of home made chili, listening to music and drinking (perhaps) a little too much and generally going with the flow of conversatons.

I read a lot and write a fair amount. As well as, for the past few months, being fairly heavily engrossed in creating a Podiobook version of my first novel Terra Incognita. Over the last few years I've become more and more selective with television and so have resorted to buying a ridiculous number of DVDs, CDs and books!

I'm interested in the environment, desperately hoping that we don't ruin this little blue world beyond recovery before it's to late to reverse the damage. The David Attenborough documentaries have pride of place amongst the DVD collection.

I'm an avid listener to the StarshipSofa podcast by Tony Smith and Ciaran O'Carroll - the wry Geordie wit and delivery is wonderful to hear as they shadow box their way round each week's chosen author.
